Weber Alpha fuel pressure
Hi folks
Does any of you know what fuel pressure that a 2litre zetec with weber alpha throttle bodies and ecu is supposed to run at? I was thinking around 3
bar but need to know so i can set up my fuel pressure regulator.
Cheers
Graham

Most fuel injection systems run at approx' 43psi (about 3bar).

Excellent. Thanks for that- just wanted confirmation that 3bar was normal

just an obvious but easily overlooked point.....
if you are mapping it then its not that important as long as there is enough fuel pressure to deliver enough fuel for correct mixture at full load
with your chosen injectors at reasonable duty cycle.......
if you are using a "ready to run" map, you need to know EXACTLY what fuel pressure it was mapped at!!

Ah good point! Never thought of it like that. Looks like i'm going to have to call webcon then. At £100 for a lambda probe the 'con'
bit is certainly true!
