Wishbone Material

Hi all,

I think I am going to go the 'make-my-own' route for the wishbones and would appreciate any info on the best way forward. My local steel supplier has got some oval profile (not sure of the exact dimensions yet) but I would prefer oval if poss as I think it looks better than round, so any advice on the minimum requirements for size would be welcome.

I have already posted a question about the track (i.e. length of the front bones (it is a +442 with cortina live axle) but am still unsure about the difference in bone size compared to the standard RC book? Do I just add 2" per arm or is it a bit more complicated than that?

Sorry to be simple but I am not very switched on when it comes to steering geometry and the maths involved!

Cheers,
JB
