yes thats the place John, the full brekkie is the nuts, decent sausages, great service ( ex-stewardesses ), wood burner and one day we'll camp out as they have a bar :-)
sitting out on a dry day its superb, as he cafe is right next to the Lake.

bob - 10/3/12 at 11:17 AM

I'm meeting someone else at Newlands so i'll have to give Henfold a miss, looks interesting though and the camp out might well be a laugh in the summer.

I'll probably give Henfold a try later in the year but it's gonna be Newlands for me tomorrow......

Humbug - 10/3/12 at 08:32 PM

I think I'm up for Henfold, but will meet you there (yes, Mark, I know I'm a big wuss not wanting to get up too early!). depending on the time, I may go home via Newlands too.

Simon

greenwood03 - 10/3/12 at 09:29 PM

not at all Simon, each to their own and all that - you know me, the roads are too busy for a blat after 9-9.30! after that 'Darn Saaarf' its a gentle trot :-)

Pezza - 10/3/12 at 10:08 PM

I'll meet you guys at the fishery again

greenwood03 - 10/3/12 at 10:53 PM

Good to catch up with all, and pleased you were all still there when i arrived, honest i was!

pewe - 12/3/12 at 09:20 AM

Good to see yous - albeit briefly.
On reflection it was a bit optomistic to think we could leave Reading at 1000hrs, do the Hindhead Tunnel then Newlands and stop off for lunch with friends in Hampton by 1300hrs!
Still made for some interesting driving and Mrs Pewe was pleased for the opportunity for a blat.
Don't forget FDMC Autsosolo next Sunday at Aldershot (thanks Geoff!).
Cheers, Pewe10
