Has anyone noticed that there are loads of new members with 0 posts who have recently joined and the user names seem to be random letters and numbers?

Could this be a robot issue?

Keep wondering if they're scouting profiles to gather personal info I.e. emails for spamming

You can always hide your e-mail address in you profile if it worries you.

Unless of course, more 'members' (and more membership) makes it easier to sell the website for a larger fee, if it were being sold...

Is there not a authorisation process? I thoultght you had to get email confiramtion to register.
If not perhaps there should be. Else as has been mute before, enforce a join up fee, even if its only a £1

There was until the server move. I guess the equipment used to do it remains at ChrisW's old company.
