This needs to go now, I bought it with good intentions but its just sitting here.. its currently stored in the spare bedroom..

Its a Kawasaki KR1S built by Team Green for Roger Milne back in 1994. It was registered o a Q in 2003. I have the V5 in my name.

It has a 680cc Kawasaki KLR engine basically a 650 engine with a big bore kit. Massive CR flatslide carb, and a standard CVH.. some spares mainly engine parts, cases, gaskets etc. And, I have a bog standard KlR600 engine as well.

New Vipor dash (not wired in) and a new Dunlop front tyre.

Requires a good service, a battery, a daylight MOT, or I have some lights to make it fully MOT and its a goer!

£800

Steve

if I was the same size as I was when I was 20, was allowed a bike and had the space I would be on the way round now!

I like it. Different. Fancy a little project to play with and powder coat a few parts!!!
I've got the space, most of the money but finding the time to pick up could be a problem.
Any idea on how much it would cost for delivery?

Its mostly ali, a polishing mop would do the trick.

When I bought it I bought a trailer to go get it, cheapest way IMO.

That's pretty funky! What sort of power would you expect it to make? 40bhp?

Steve Hignett - 12/6/12 at 09:19 PM

I used to race in the National Supermono Championship, most bikes were making between 70 to 85 BHP depending if they were water cooled or air cooled (2 championships in the same races )

I ran a Harris Rotax 640cc that put out 78bhp, the torque was amazing & the engine braking was great fun

I soooo wanted to buy this bike from Steve, just seemed that everytime I had the cash something needed it more than me buying a new toy for myself
