My grandad who used to race using these engines has asked me sell some of his old engine parts etc.

you could get fair bit more for those cam covers and the 1st head in the pictures you know........

Good luck with the sale though - although I suspect you wont need it at those prices!

Gearbox looks cool - think it's a 4sp type-5 though? (ie. the heavy duty one from V6 Capri's etc.) Not sure I've ever seen one in real life and certainly not one with Quaife straight cut gears.

It's had ALOT of work done on It. Is there any way to tell difference. It was fitted to a cross flow.

The type 5 was my first thought too, but looking I think its a bullet box without the remote shift.

The dry sump pan is for a pre x-flow with small flywheel, could be Formula Junior.....

its not a type 9 earlier type5
you could try this on the marcos forum, lots of them run these
