Roadrunner Racing SR2 S2000
Rocket_Rabbit - 24/8/15 at 10:55 AM

Right I'm moving house because the Mrs needs a photography studio.

This will be in the next 6 months so I'm not in a mega rush to sell, but it might be right up someones alley. If it hasn't sold in the next couple of months, I'll finish it off.

This is a Roadrunner SR2 with the reinforced wide tunnel chassis and full roll cage.

I bought this from Roadrunner after it had been used for their V8 demonstrator for about 50 miles. Cost me £9000. It has sat in my garage for a year because I have been funding the Mrs' fore mentioned photography business.

The car comes with a brand new vented bonnet nose designed for taller engines
Alloy 4 pot brakes (280mm Vented discs) front, new mazda mx5 rears
Floor mounted pedal box with individual MCs for front/rear brakes and clutch
Double core alloy radiator
Roadrunner colour coded seats on rails
Acewell 3973 Dash
Savage switches/carbon dash
Momo 320mm flat bottomed steering wheel on quick release (Will also throw in my brand new 270mm round wheel)
15x7" OZ superlegerra wheels that have been frshly blasted and powdercoated.
Brand new 195/50/15 Silvertsone FTZ-RR semi slick 1B tyres. 4 on the car, and I have two spare (Left and a Right). The pictures show Lotus wheels that I borrowed to get the car home)
Honda S2000 engine (F20C) and gearbox. This came from a yr 2000 model and has done 64,000 miles. The engine runs perfectly (It hasn't ran in the SR2 yet). The engine sits far back thanks to the wide transmission tunnel.
Mazda MX5 rear diff on solid mounts. Fully rebuilt (0 miles) with Torsen diff and running a 3.9FD
Protech single adjustable dampers
Adaptronic 420D ECU
Varley Red Top 25 battery

What does it need?
It needs wiring for the ECU, the fuel and coolant lines plumming in, clutch line, exhaust manifold and can, headlights fitting, handbrake adjusting, seats and seatbelts bolting in. I reckon about £1500 (I had an exhuast system priced up at £700) needs spending on it. As it stands I'm at about £14k with it.

If you priced up a new one from RRR you'd be looking at £14k without engine, box, wheels, tyres, ECU, BBK etc

I'm after £10k and I'll even drop it off for you within 100 miles of Crewe.

Ta.
Ron

Aw man, sorry to see that you're selling this project

I know mate but needs must. I have my motorbike so at least I'm not wheel-less!

Have you thought about trading the wife instead? I couldn't have started my project without my wife-to-be's financial management

Don't even get me started....
