Does anyone local to Reading/Basingstoke (or in that area) have a sheet metal folder that I’d be able to use to make a few bends in a sheet in exchange for some beers etc.?

The piece I need to fold will be about 1.2m long and 2 or 3mm steel or aluminium (tbc at the moment).

are the tight bends, or nice curves?

Tight, to replicate the shape of a side panel. I’d guess around 5mm radius max.

If no success I’ll bend it around a clamped length of steel but would get a better result with a folder.

Very good, while there you can also pick up useful off cuts for scrap prices - they have surprisingly large pieces stacked against the wall, just talk to the chaps on the shop floor.
