Koso digital speedo group buy bargains!!

Hi,
A member over on 'Roadster Builders' is trying to organise a group buy direct with Koso for their digital speedos.

The RX1n which is ideal for BECs (20krpm tacho) and usually retails at Ł160 will be Ł95 delivered-

The Rx2n which is more suited to CECs (10krpm tacho) is around Ł240 retail will be Ł145 -

He needs to order 50 units to get these prices but is prepared to do it if he can get 30 solid orders then sell on the other 20 later.

This is NTDWM but I will be taking an RX2n at this price if the deal does come off

Hi I am the person doing the group buy my name is dave and my sister imports all sorts of stuff for her business thats how I am able to organise group buys

the speedos have wiring and speed sensors included but if you want a gearbox adaptor you would have to source this yourself as koso don't make them apparently speaking to the boss i may be able to do the buy on just 20 people if we hammer the wifes card

Please start a list so i know who wants what

yeah the gearbox adaptors would need to be ordered elsewhere

If we get another 10 for the RX2N we can go ahead and order the gauges and start the ball rolling

I am willing to buy the extras 30 or so but will be asking Ł190 for the rx2n after the order goes in so be quick to avoid the inflation

8 more rx2n's and I am happy to go ahead and sell the rest later I cant afford to buy more than 35 tis my life savings and twice the buget for finishing my roadster

Go back to them and find a price on 20 mate, nobody here wants you to take a financial risk, and I'm certainly happy to pay more so you don't have too.

Unfortunately because the 10krpm is special order the minimum is 50 for the rx2n am not worried about selling them on will have my money back in a few months with a little profit maybe

Hi all the RX2N 14k is no problem however I have just had an email this morning saying the RX1N 20k is not available at the moment so the 6 with the rx1n would you prefer the RX2N 14k as an alternative at the same price as the rest or is it a deal breaker amend list please with your answer sorry for the mess about

It actually looks like a 15K scale to me but only marked to 14k, if that makes any difference. Most big bike engines that are usually fitted into BECs should come in under 15Krpm shouldn't they?

Sorry gents the group buy has hit a roadblock I have been in contact with a company that I was led to believe was koso in china and aftrr asking a few questions that they tried to avoid sent my alarm bells off so quick call to koso europe confirmed my worst fears that the china company are a manufacturer of koso STYLE gauges supplying oe gauges to megelli which is a motorbike manufacturer the gauges the china people make a gauge that is identical to the koso gauges but they dont have the options for using different oil water and fuel sensors none of which is supplied by the people in china

so I have now approached koso europe about giving us a group buy on the gauges direct from them

sorry for the complications I do feel a bit misled but I cant in good concience supply or buy something that is not of the standard that people would expect

bear with me its been a learning curve but I am still working on it and will post it again when I have a deal together
