Well at least any new members in 2008 will see just what a great forum we have here and just how helpful it can be to the amateur car builder!

Ahhhhh I understand now and at only 99p at the moment it looks like a very cheap way of fitting out your 8 bathroom mansion with scales

^ Oh look, someone actually took the time to read the listing before hitting the snide key.

mistergrumpy - 3/1/08 at 08:19 PM

What listing? Where?

We are all still looking for the link, can you point a big arrow at it

It's on ebay isn't it

There was a big arrow, but it didn't work, then Mr Beddows posted a link that did work.
Now it would appear that both these links have been removed from this thread.
Phantom editor?

Not guilty me lud!

I don't think ChrisW has been on here for a while either......and we only remove rude, crude or socially undesirable threads, as you all know

If it had been edited for any reason by us there would be an 'edited by Fozzie' or 'edited by ChrisW' in the reply box.....

Low range scales in parallel! I hadn't thought of that, that is a cunning plan indeed.

Dangle_kt - 4/1/08 at 11:02 PM

anyone care to explain how this is set up? I have 4 scales, and will happily buy 4 more.

Confused but excited. - 7/1/08 at 06:35 PM

Two scales under each wheel.
Load spread by placing a board across the two scales.
Add the readings of the two scales for each corner weight.
