Aluminium Brazing, Durafix HTS2000??

I'm in the process of making a Holley 4 barrel manifold for an RV8.

I've fabricated the mounting plate from 12mm aluminium, and cut the turret off the rover manifold.

Currently working on matching them up.

There is no way my R Tech 160 tig will weld the two together, so I was thinking about using the low temp brazing type rods, there will be a big contact area, so if the manufacturers claims are correct I should be OK.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of this type of rod, and its suitability? Or would I be better putting the £15 or so for the rods towards paying someone with a big TIG to weld it up for me.

I had a go at this with variable results on an inlet manifold,for bike carbs.

You need a decent blow torch as the trick is to tin both parts first and then heat then up in place and let the "solder" flow between then, works similar to soldering wires together, but large ally parts do a good job of dispersing the heat so needs a fair bit of heat to maintain the solder flow.
