4mm but curved which helps with rigidity

I'm using 3mm, also curved.

how easy is it to bend 3 0r 4 mm? Do you use heat?

Do you just use exterior grade Lexan?

It depends how tight you want the bend to be. Mine is flexed to a gentle curve and held in shape by a curved aluminium angle. Any permanent bend would need heat to be applied.

planning quite a tight curve!

I'm assuming I'll need to use a bit of heat

Worth reading the material usage instructions. From what I remember of Lexan (brand name for polycarbonate), if you warm it above 100deg then it goes cloudy because the absorbed water causes microbubbles that form in the material from the steam.

Professionally, they dry it out very slowly in special ovens, then you can heat it and form it that way, but I guess you haven't got the appropriate oven.
