Hellfire - 4/4/06 at 07:36 PM

Carl - on your avatar you've left the yellow polishing mop up the exhaust!!!

carlgeldard - 4/4/06 at 07:36 PM

Paul

Yes that was before the crash. There is a picture in my archive that shows the damage. (Sorry about the size). The Ackworth meet should be next week.

Agriv8 - 4/4/06 at 09:45 PM

17 k

must have been all those after market stickers

Andy I am sure will be along to fill us in.

The car has gone I think funding son carting I think.

To be honest Andy is a top bloke and a star.

Agriv8

andy d (rizla) - 4/4/06 at 09:55 PM

17k is a bullshit figure(it included all spending trackdays, fuel, etc etc)

total cost of car was 11k including all the xtras

Agriv8 - 4/4/06 at 09:59 PM

Well done Andy they show the bits that make good TV.

If it was me I would have murdered my Mother In Law

Agriv8

Mansfield - 4/4/06 at 09:59 PM

Fair play to you mate, made good viewing.

After the programme we invented 'have the father-in-law'. Basically F-I-L comes round for a week and we drink beer, gamble & watch football. Much more fun.

SWMBO quickly realised this game wold be no fun, nicked the remote and told me it wasn't going to happen.

andy d (rizla) - 4/4/06 at 10:00 PM

ps dont ever go horse ridding

Hellfire - 4/4/06 at 10:01 PM

I was only £500 quid out. I told the missus the real cost would be about eleven and half.

Had to have a good old laugh at my missus watching it and nodding her head, especially the bit about not having done any DIY on the house for the last two years

Mansfield - 4/4/06 at 10:03 PM

I think your timing was out - horse at TDC and you at BDC. Piles of fun.

matt.c - 4/4/06 at 10:05 PM

Think about me! nearly getting my avon untill the the other half watch that programme. BU**ER

kev R1 - 4/4/06 at 10:06 PM

i said eight and a half!!!

andy d (rizla) - 4/4/06 at 10:10 PM

i did the show for one reason only,to pay respect to mnr who gave me the confidence to get the car after my bad experience with a certain other company going bust and taking my money

thanks chris and marc

respect to to you

COREdevelopments - 4/4/06 at 10:17 PM

ch1ll1 - 5/4/06 at 06:30 AM

MY WIFE WANTS A NEW KITCHEN
told her if she helps build my new garage for the next project she can have one (silly women)
and she was helping (well only while i had a digger there)
but not sure now !

Agriv8 - 5/4/06 at 06:49 AM

The Wife stated she was going to put her foot down and stop me messing with the Kit car.

I stated that if I did not have the Kit car to meddle with I would start demanding to wath things on TV especially at crucial Soaps time. ( I always find a couple of 'where is Jack' in Corrie - 'Where is den ' in Eastenders - 'Where the farm' on Emerdale am I showing my years yet ? ) Soon has me dipatched to the garage

PS my wife wants a new Kitchen ikea have a good kitched designing package downloadble from tinternet

ch1ll1 - 5/4/06 at 06:58 AM

i dont think she would like to fit it her self

D Beddows - 5/4/06 at 07:15 AM

Yup, I got in trouble too especialy when the magic words 'Ebay purchases' popped up just after £17K was mentioned...... lol

Thankfully at the time I'd just finished putting a shower rail up after spending most of the weekend tiling the bathroom - brownie pointastic thank god

Dillinger1977 - 5/4/06 at 07:47 AM

far play to you andy, i wouldnt have done that show, and i suspect in my case there would have been actual violence if anyone had my car towed without me knowing.

shame it didnt showcase the car more. perhaps a section where you take the mother in law out for a blat and scare the bejesus out of her would have made for entertaining viewing.

ch1ll1 - 5/4/06 at 08:18 AM

i can see why she removed the car
but i thought that was o.t.t

if my witch in-law tried to remove any of my projects ( and theres a few) think there would be a murder or at least lots of blood !

i think you took it well ! far play to ya !
and i noticed you driving a doner ( maybe your next project ? )
