Get off m40 at junc 9 then on a34 is best.

Expect traffic though. The A34 gets quite busy. Shouldn't be a nightmare assuming no accidents but not fast.

Blenheim is lovely though. We did a couple of work events up there a few years back.

I live 2.5miles south of Blenheim.

I don't know much about the first bit of your route.

From the M25 you can either do M4-A34 (northbound) -A44, or M40-A40-A44, or M40-A34 (southbound) -A44.

I normally listen out for traffic on the radio and decide accordingly.

M40-A40-A44 route is a bit shortest but A40 around Oxford (Northern Bypass) is slow, Saturday morning probably not the worst.
A34 northbound is always a disaster on Friday afternoons.

Sadly, you can't get onto the B4027 from the A40 in the direction that you would like to go, although it would work on the way back.
