Car Battery supplier

Sometime ago there was a thread on here about on line battery suppliers with some good recommendations. Unfortunately my search doesn’t seem to work so I wonder if anyone can show a link or just suggest somewhere.

https://www.tayna.co.uk/

Used a few times always been good for me.

Do check age of cell and state of charge on arrival (to ensure new stock).

I think this is the thread you were looking for

https://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=217752

note to search this site it is easiest to use and ordinary google search, but adding the "site:locostbuilders.co.uk" qualifier

Just adding to Tayna - I looked for an 096 AGM battery for my stop start car, Eurocarparts Exide battery £440 - Tayna £98 same battery, ordered at 2200 Saturday, confirmation email with tracking details arrived 3 pm Sunday with the comment that it can take 12 hours for the tracking to go live, Battery delivered 10 am Monday - thats what I call good service!

Cheapest I've found is Motor Parts Direct (motor factor). Checking their website they have a branch in Bedfored

I had to replace the battery on our VW Touran in December and they supplied from stock, cheaper than anyone else in my area. Granted I was able to collect from them though. If you're stuck with no wheels then you'd be in for a taxi fare (lock down allowing).
