Morning folks,
My son is disposing of a 2009 E91 BMW 320D Touring, been in the family since new or nearly new, has around 175,000 miles on it from memory, I'd
need to confirm. Reason for sale is that it's started making a vibration all the time engine is running & he's been advised it's
flywheel/clutch - it had a new clutch a couple of years ago, so I'm assuming dual mass flywheel issues, he was quoted over a grand to repair
& has finally decided to sell the car, obviously as spares/repairs.
It has half a tank of diesel, was running faultlessly up until the vibration, MoT to the end of the year, couple of decent tyres on it, new
struts/shocks all round last year, & a new front caliper & driveshaft last December when last serviced. It's had the ECU remapped to
eliminate any DPF issues. It's always been serviced on schedule & maintained as necessary. The body & interior are some way from
pristine, but it's all there & it all works!
What's it worth £500? Am I around ball park correct with that?
Either a relatively cheap repair if you're doing it yourself or a useful source of good spares. Car is located in Tingley near Leeds, drive away
at own risk or collect on a trailer.
If it's of interest to anyone give me a shout & I'll put you in touch Russ 07914 258651
