doesnt suprise me.....

Alfa145 - 22/12/11 at 06:59 PM

if you're getting no joy with email have you tried ringing them?

EDIT: Its not GBS KitSparesDirect like I thought it was. KitPartsDirect does have a bad rep. I'd never buy anything from them, even if they were the cheapest.

Im surprised they had them in stock.....thats all I have to say

I think Bumble ordered the same ones and ended up having sending them back for a refund due to poor quality too, might be worth a u2u to him to see how they sorted the issue for him.
Saying that, I've ordered mirrors from them without any problems.

Currently got issues with MK myself - ordered a manufacturers plate from them early october, my cheque has been cashed and its not arrived. Three phone calls, two emails and one u2u later and I've either had unsatisfactory responses or no response at all. I can't book IVA without it and its holding me up
In hindsight, I wish I'd just made my own now. Anyway, rant over....

hope kit parts pull their finger out and get your stone guards sorted

mr kit parts direct is, and always has been a crook. It's unfortunate that you did not know this. If you paid by credit card, i would aim to get my money back from there. If not, chalk it up to experience. You'll be lucky to get anywhere with a complaint to him.

Strong words Guys. If he is that bad then why is he still trading?

wylliezx9r - 23/12/11 at 12:21 AM

I've heard of towns creating twinships.......perhaps kitpartsdirect should partner up with GTS Tuning.......... just a thought..

Personally I am stocked some of these businesses exist. There is zero excuse for bad customer service. My MD says that a business who doesn't answer the phone isn't worth doing business with. The easiest sale in the world is when a customer rings up and want to order something.

I had the same issue a while back. I still cringe when I look at them on the car. Must make some new ones soon.

lewis - 23/12/11 at 11:08 AM

Ditto to all above they were cheap so thought I would take a gamble, really don't know how they carry on trading selling crap products & zero customer service skills

jossey - 23/12/11 at 11:19 AM

im nipping up to see them if we all fancy a road trip to "discuss" the issues we have ALL had.

lewis - 23/12/11 at 11:39 AM

Mate I would live to pop up and pay them a visit if they were a little closer I would do just that.

Alfa145 - 23/12/11 at 11:47 AM

Bit too much of a treck for me to Hull. I just vote with my wallet and buy elsewhere.

Taura - 27/12/11 at 04:01 PM

I bought 2 harnesses just before christmas last year, the items were delivered in perfect condition, 2 days later. I am sorry to hear that some of you had problems.

They seem to be getting more products for sale though, so they must be getting the orders.

lewis - 27/12/11 at 04:42 PM

I have no problems with there delivery (but took a week and a half) its the quality of the product and the after sales I have a problem with,I will take my money else where next time.
