ive just tryed to access the forum shop but i cant access it
is it not active or is it just that i dont have access to it

Its only special people allowed in the shop

Shame cos there loads of really good stuff in there

Ah you as well eh. Click Locostbuilders ^ up there^ and its in the navigation box. There's a few decent things in there.

actually, i saw that last week, clicked on it, it didn't work so i forgot about it...

There are only two ways (that I know of) to get access to the shop.

1 - Achieve a post count of 1,500 or more
2 - By special invitation

You need to get posting more. Or if you're lucky, you might get a special invitation to become a customer

Oops sorry. Just been informed it's actually 2,500 posts that are required before you get the automatic pop-up inviting you to become a customer............

I thought everyone knew about it. Ive had some real bargains from there. Ive had 2 invites now. Think i still have a spare one on email. Does anyone want it? Ill need to check its transferable first though.

No I don't think they are transferrable mate. I got mine a long time ago from Joel I think.

Its 10% off everything day tomorow

But you can only get an invite if you have skype..... i think a well known invisible parts supplier is using the same system after not paying the phone bill LOL

Anyway

If its the same shop i was at earlier this year then its a barn and they have an unfinished luego viento in there

Might even be for sale

I'm a supplier to the above shop, and I can honestly say I've had very few enquiries for my services. I'm thinking of withdrawing my parts.
BTW that part on page 3 isn't one of mine - although I wish it was!!

i should have another open invite coming up soon if anyone wants one? Theres a lot of crap and memorabilia in there but some real bargains!

I thought that too until I dealt with some of the kit car manufacturers who positively drive customers away

I was too busy to attend the 10% off day, should have really give my ticket to someone else but hey we have all seen chris's unfinished viento before.

Some of the items were more than 10% as well. bit of a end of year sale. I managed to get a 100L vertical tank compressor for £110 delivered. 14cfm as well which should drive most of my tools. Hope its OK when it arrives.


Yeah - i actually got my personal invite before 2500 posts but i think that was mainly as i havent upset anyone.

Having re read the thread and seen the type of customers who are allowed in I think that perhaps it is more of an honour not to be a member..........only kidding!

There were some good offers going on the 10% day, you missed some bargains there.
Still awaiting delivery though myself, will let you know if it's any good as still might be worth getting one yourself anyway.
