Shipping to the USA
Minicooper - 13/10/11 at 05:30 PM

Hello,
I may need to send a fairly large parcel to the USA, approx measurements are 100 cm x 110cm x 70cm and it weighs about 25kgs, I have had a look at the likes of parcelmonkey.com but no luck. Anyone know of a suitable carrier at a reasonable price

Cheers
David

Try parcels-2-go
Mind you the trouble with air frieght is the cost.... They work on volumetric weight and I reckon some thing that size could cost over £300-£400... It may be worth checking with Parcelforce and send it via sea! Ok it will take a long time but could be under half the price to that of air..

Try Transglobal Linky, we use them to send parcels to my daughter in Australia but that is going be be mahoosively expensive

Posting your kids abroad won't make them go away - trust me

Just for reference - I've recently sent a much smaller and lighter package (5kg and 50cm x 40cm x 17cm) to the US and the best price I could get for it was just shy of £40 with DHL.

Last big thing I sent was a box containing a pair of Bilstien Escort RWD struts, complete with hubs, discs, brakes and springs, just shy of £200 with UPS.
