I have an old non working stairlift, the runner that that chair goes in is about 5 meters long and made of aluminum.

Just wondering if i will get more money for it as scrap metal rather than stick it on ebay as a non runner.

Some of the manufacturers offer refurbished stair-lifts - might be worth contacting them to see what they'll offer.

Tried a few... pretty much zero.

I work for 'thee' largest independent family Stair lift company....saying no names!!

Scrap the rail mate, you will get more money for it. £20-25 a rail.
