What has this world become to Saw this on a local forum this morning. Unfortunate guys went out to a Cars In The Park event, slept over at a
"safe hotel: and woke up on Monday morning to find this!
thats absolutely terrible
nothing is safe anymore, if you have anything decent there is always someone who wants to wreck it for you.
Hang em!!
This is something that was common in eastern europe during the 90's so we use safe bolts
Looks like a lot BIRKINS belly up........
In a country that is now turning in on its foreiners who helped them get in to power, the loss of the wheels is small fry.
One of our members in Dunfermline got his wheels stolen out his yard last week so it happens all over.
The question I have wanted to ask is why are the wheels so expensive to buy new but you get sod all for them second hand
Locking wheelnuts/studs will only deter folks. You can buy 'sprung-pin sockets' to remove them or use a few other less known methods (not to be published on a public forum!). Just ask any guys who work in a garage. I learnt all the tricks when I worked at a Rover dealership. They even published tech bullitins on how to remove locking nuts/studs without the key as well as how to break into cars.....
And with a locking wheel nut key where do you store it in a kit car as its not exactly tight on security.
Less safe than a tintop - wouldn't need a jack, just a couple of mates to hold the car up.

A lot of this easy crime, high level damage, low level reward is drug related.
Don't ignore your local pushers. Their customers will be stealing from you to pay for their stuff.
sucha shame. I got free McGuards with my Pro-Race and R888 deal.

One way is to keep it in your pocket when your out and about and then store it in the house when you get back (away from the car).
Why is it some individuals feel the NEED to do this? Its beyond me....
thats how my tintop looked when i came home from a weekend away
altho they did manage to smash all my windows and dent every panel as well
the police said they d had got 15 calls in one night for the same thing
I HATE THIEVING SCUM
I know you should keep the key with you but its an annoyance and once lost mine having it on me and left it at home when ive needed it. I might just build somewhere secret to store it. Pointless crime and real shame people cant enjoy their pride and joy.
