3 new episodes of Red Dwarf have been filmed with the original cast.
First one is on tonight at 9pm, then tomorrow and sunday same time.
All on Dave.
Just hope they manage to keep it as funny as the original.

Agreed. There was only one thing she could have done to make the series better, and talking on-camera wasn't it.

What happened on the last programme of the last series? Was it all profound and they went their own ways? I can't remember.

<3 dwarfy. Series 8 huffed dongs. I'm going to assume the new eps will be poor, if they turn out to be good then that's a bonus ^__^
Fave eps are usually better than life and gunmen of the apocalypse, amirite? "dry white wine and perrier!"

Though it was too slow moving, only character with any spark was the cat. Should have brought back Holly as well.
I'll watch the rest now, but first episode wasn't great.

The whole thing seemed a bit uptight and Rimmer didn't seem his usual self. A big thing for me and I never thought I'd miss it is the
audience laughing in the background. It just seemed a bit empty without it.

Yeah lack of studio audience made a huge difference. Good bits: It did have a certain darkness that dwarf never had before which I thought was good,
especially at the start. The CG blew series 8 out of the water and sophie winkleman is hot.
I think they should have used the original camera/editing equipment from series 6 era, it's all too perfect/clinical now, all the actors have
tons of make up on. I'd want lower quality picture with real sets. The sound quality/production on Emperor - in the nightside eclipse is
awful but it wouldn't be a great album if it wasn't like that, adds to the atmosphere ^__^

Yeas I agree on the lower quality too. I'd have like the squids tentacles to be made out of rubber rather than computer generated and Listers
room that had a motorbike in was a bit too much. Where's the basic bunk beds?
I'm hoping Holly comes back tonight.

I suspected that it would be a disappointment...
I select programmes according to the "inverse publicity law" - the more they advertise a programme, the less likely it is that I will
enjoy it.
Quite often the programmes I enjoy the most are the ones that don't get hyped, and I've discovered by accident.

I tend to think the acting was ok, but the script left something to be desired. Just didn't click, and they compounded it by showing one of the
best episodes straight afterwards!
If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.
