That grille makes me smile!
I do wonder if the surround and bars are a little too thick? Slightly out of proportion?
But my comments should be taken lightly, as I do like it...

im not sure on it...they do look thick, but thats because the grp mould is thick around the edges.....
it will probably find its way onto the 'bay' before long, unless i get used to it....

<grumpy old man mode on.>
whilst it may look find and dandy, you are missing the point of a grille.
it is not to look fancy or be comical, that is a secondary function but its purpose is to prevent rabbits and medium sized stones from punching the
radiator whilst maintaining good air flow to the radiator.
I would estimate you are blocking of at least 30% of the air plus the wide strips are introducing tubulance.
the answer to this question is: shopping trolley or if you want to get fancy, aluminium strips to make egg box grille for the retro look.
you make get the thumbs up on here but you are wasting your time reinventing the wheel and comking up with an inferior result.
compare yours to a grille from someone who has a proven record demonstrating they know what they are doing.
in rhe end, it is up to you as you'll be paying for the engine build after blow up.
oh, and replace the word "gay" by "crap".
<grumpy mode off>
PS sorry if this offends; you may not like my advice but you cannot argue it is good advice and for your benefit.

Thats a bit strong! Don't think that one ^^^^ would stop a rabbit at 70mph or many stones... so thats crap!
Personally I think it's nice as a bit of fun... but it is going to restrict the air flow. The edges might fall with in IVA radius requirements
as well.

Agreed, it is very unlikely to stop any stones hitting the rad. It's main purpose on the Cat is to support the 7 logo in the middle
