May as well use the max permissible CC.
Honda CBR900 Fireblade engine (RRY/RR1). 929CC exactly!

honda makes a 929cc fuel injected engine for the fireblade, i've got a 954 blade in my mk indy which is much the same engine with slightly
bigger capacity, its got plenty power been very reliable and gearbox seems very tough as well.

Joni, whilst the reply was not as helpfull as you would have liked, your response was to say the least rude and unwarranted.

Back to the subject...
The 929 blade has a titanium exhaust as standard too!
I can't imagine any other engine of a lower capacity to be much better.
Blade engines are held in fairly high regard AFAIK with few issues when used in a BEC.
Just fit a sump baffle.
929's are cheap too as they are not used in RGB as they fall in between classes if you know what I mean.
I did once hear a rumour regarding 929 bores going oval.
Maybe AndyB could clear that one up.
We have a 929 in our Phoenix.

anyways...
well, what engine did last years championship winner use? it worked for him after all.
have a look at what engines the top 5 use, and i'm sure one particular engine will appear in there at least twice. seems like a good starting
point to me

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
