Equidistant??
We need to find somewhere groovy, a bit nearer to the Robo's and Chippy's.
Sort of just south of Guildford , or on a Horsham latitude.
Or is there still the cafe on the A3 in the trees near the A3/M25 intersection Wisley pond??
But I'm quite happy to go along to Noolands again!

41 miles from me, and at least another 25 from Rob's. Would be nice if we could find a place nearer, or on the A3. Cheers Ray

Guys.... a bit off-topic but....just to let you know....Elgar Works has been officially condemned as unsafe (not Currans as it is totally separate),
and will be razed to the ground...soonish I believe
.... Thanks for all of your messages and concern, all very much appreciated!

That is no where near where Dave of Surrey and I are talking about.......
Fozzie
Wisley Lake Caff linky
Zoom right in on 'A' and pan the map south west....
from the south......go to the interchange with M25 right round take the A3 slip toward Guildford, before you join main carriageway, take a small road
called Old Lane, caff just on the left ...zoom in on map and you will see the building...
From north (walton. cobham etc) go off A3 at M25 junction, but carry forward. following A3 Guildford .....on the slip you will see Old Lane on your
left....
No charge to park there last time I went a couple of months back...
Rob , on t'way home there is a large BP garage southbound A3 about 1 mile from Old Lane.... you can recharge for your southbound oil-slick
there!
Maybe a venue for another time?
..weather looks abysmal for tomorrow

Yes Rob that is Wisley Airfield. An old WW2 airfield, which after the war was used by Vickers for plane testing.
Currently earmarked for composting/incinerator useage...
The runway is very lumpy and broken in places, and tbh not found a way to get on it.
When we last looked, you cannot get on to it with a car from Elm Lane, but not tried from Old Lane.... maybe worth a reckie......
Fozzie
Edit to add....if you carry on down Old Lane, to the crossroads, on the left, there is a pub known to us locals as The Mucky Duck (Black Swan), do a
right at the crossroads into Ockham Lane and it looks a possibilty that you can get to it from there? .... not seen that from the road before...

On Any Sunday
I think we should make any Sunday a possible meet , as it is so weather dependent , and just try to take advantage of any good weather breaks.
