I tried the same trick today and just got a flat refusal for any sort of discount - nothing, nada

I considered lying on the floor and having a screaming tantrum but thought better of it

I went into the Blackburn store armed with a 'I have driven across bloody miles in all this traffic and you haven't got it' story when they handed me the spanners.

I was almost disappointed!

I did Very nice bits of kit (especially for the price!). Be good to keep in the car for roadside tweaks too.
