I asked the same question when i arrived at the hospital! The copper smiled and shook his head in a "No" movement when i asked if the car
was an expensive one!
I havent mentioned that shes nearly 12, and walks the 6 / 700m trip to school. There arent many reasons for driving her there as a result.
The police are all over this incident, so im guessing they will look at the mobile phone etc.

Thanks. She is on the mend, just trying to get some food into her now.
The police have decide no further action to be taken, and that it was just an accident.
Its good they followed it up so quickly, im quite impressed.
