slightly off topic, but what would have happened if that spin had wiped out the corsa, obviously insurance won't apply, is it just one of the risks you take, or would the offending driver be expected to cover other innocent cars repairs?

The Photo that you saw on pistonheads is also now on the thread on here, it was taken by Nick at Xtreme who did the official photos on the day.

Glad to see that you guys had an enjoyable day even if a bit too eventful! Druids is always the killer in the damp, we had two cars drop it there during the sighting laps and one of them was front wheel drive! We always give it a special mention in the drivers briefing but that slight rise at the exit always catches them out

Was a very close miss on the Corsa and the guy would have been heartbroken as it was his first trackday in the car - him and his dad came along last year in their westfield but decided FWD might be safer this time given the conditions . As far as I understand it any damage on track is the owners problem, all the indemnities that you sign should ensure that you can't get sued but TBH in over ten years of trackdaying I've never seen two cars come together like they very nearly did there so fortunately it's not an issue that comes up much.

Coming in from yet another red flagged lap by the looks of it! (By the look on my face more like!)
