Definitely R1,

Therefore you need to edit your original kit list to remove 'gearbox' and 'engine mounts'.

But add
Engine cradle (from MK)
Power commander
SpeedoHealer

Maybe worth to keep the thread alive by updating your wishlist regulaly, you'd be suprised what might come up over the winter months.

Have a look here for a good source of engines. They will also help with the loom and the clocks.

what the hell is a Power commander and im guessing the SpeedoHealer is to make the speedo work since it goes through a diff rather than a chain?

Click here for a explanation of power commanders. Much better words than I could every come up with.

Speedohealer is required if you are going to use speedo that comes with the original bike (most builders do this). The circumference of you kit wheels will be different from those on the original bike so a speedohealer adjusts the calibration of the speedo accordingly.

there is a surcharge to pay if you don't send them your old ones, its not much though so do the maths before buying old ones to send them
