There have been some monsterous kits over the years> Henson (M30?) must be amongst them. There was also something that was built in Scotland and
looked like it crawled out of Loch Ness that was truelly horrible.
Of those pictured above I think the Hustler is cool. Would like one of those for a general run around, but not the Jag based one! Anyone know
of one for sale?
Of current kits the Onyx has to be the ugliest thing going!
Has anyone bought one yet and do they have a seat for the Guide dog?
It looks like it was designed by a 13 year old who had to add every bulge and accessory available from Halfrauds!
At least the others have some angle that they don't look too bad from!

Ugliest??
Guys -
The description was the ugliest kit car. For me, that 80's Cygnet takes the prize. Sorry, no pic - yet!
This kit allegedly recreated the Countach style, for the Cortina chassis!! Antbody ever seen one?
Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

Not sure still which is the ugliest, but if you ever buy an ice cream cone in North Berwick, theres a good chance it'll be from........... a
Hustler!!!! still see it driving around occasionally and have purchased a 99 from it meself.

There must be a misunderstanding here. A “kit-car” is when you buy pieces that you put together into a car, not when you buy a car that falls apart
into pieces.

Brilliant, a self dismantling donor . There's a kit I always did like but it never did anything, I think the donors all rotted away too quick
for it to have a chance.

Another Moke lookalike but a bit more stylised I think. The six wheel thing's not bad either.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Steve - IIRC you've just aquired another BMW. Think that disqualifies you
Spiderman - agree - think the Hustler a great car. Was available with V12!!!!

yes.
and its like night and day compared to the other one.
anyone looking for a tax friendly company car wont go wrong with a bmw 3 series 320d. I have the 'touring' version, and its just spent the
weekend effortlessly lugging stuff to build a patio with.
0-60 in a little less than 9 secs, 134 mph. At 70, its doing 2,000 rpm, and at 100, approx 2,800!
the 318i was a gutless wonder - this is so much better.
so
atb
steve
ps - dont beleive diesel economy - this is doing about the same as the 318i did - around 37mpg - but I get 32 extra hp for it...

I know it's off topic a little, but can I nominate an ugly supercar? If so, it'd be that monstrosity the Pagani Zonda, awful cab-forward
proportions and a butt-ugly front end to boot, horrible!

Why are those "supercars" so bloody expencive?
It can't be for aerodynamic windtunnel research 'cause most of them are pure clone's of the Le Mans racecars.
It can't be for the engine devellopement 'cause most of them use blocks from Chevy-Audi-Merc etc...
A lot of small shops in the UK can do a quality leather trim for a reasonable price tag.
On the other hand, if you wonna retire after selling 5 cars than most of those super cars aren't that expencive at all!

I've often wondered how much it actually costs to make something like a zonda or a koenigsegg.
I guess it's down to low volumes and that fact that pretty much everything is hand made.
But even figuring in the exotic materials the large number of manhours the markups must be pretty big.
I personally like the zonda but I think lambo are bang on the button with the looks of the murcielago and gallardo.
This has gone off-topic, sorry.

sir, i must object! pistols at dawn?!
the zonda is, IMVHO, one of the most beautiful devices ever devised, and though i've not seen one in the flesh, i would swap my left bollok for
one. maybe the right one too, though its my favourite...

Your challenge is taken up sir, lest I besmirch the honour of my family! Will it be spudguns or water pistols?
Seriously though, I just don't like the thing, in the same way a lot of people don't like one of my all-time favourites, the Lamborghini
Countach. Whatever floats yer boat and all that............

ah, i love the look of the countach... it has a classic hardcore look. Thats another example of a car that is easier to purchase than to maintain
though.

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
