That looks really nice jb.. perhaps overkill for what we're trying to do though.

Wonder if I can make a decent external collector tank / swirl pot / whatever you want to call it, with a mig welder.. hmmm

Collector

The in tank collector and pumps is nice now because it is all out of the way.

But if I was to do it again I would mount the pumps and collector externally as it would be so much easier and if something goes wrong much easier to get at.

Hi JB have been a long time admirer of your work. Very nice... I particularly liked the V8 Kitten.

The design I posted was meant to function as both swirl pot and surge tank hence return is on an angle to rotate fluid. I'm going to knock it up in 16g steel to start with because it's free! Then look to something lighter later on.
