And I can now reveal the weight of the Peugeot V6.....<<drum roll>> 180kg. That's without the air con compressor, the alternator or
the fuel pump. And without the air plenum and exhaust manifolds.

Shame you didn't go the X25XE route - they hit 200bhp in Vectra SRi form which is just the addition of the 3.0 cams and a tweak to the ECU.
Ditch the cats and i'm sure you're back to the 210bhp of the Omega 3.0
I only have an Essex V6 to compare it with, but its barely any wider (due to the 54 degree angle), shorter, same height (sump to airfilter/plenum) and
weighs a comparative fraction - think it comes in at just over 200kg with the gearbox?
The ES9J4 is a damned good lump though having tried one out in a Xantia.
