MK GT1 For Sale
Reluctantly ...
Took her out at Castle Combe on Wednesday after a two month rebuild.
Handling is awesome but I am pretty sure I am getting too old !

Sorry to hear that after all the hard work you are selling. Having looked at the photo archive, it looks good. There is one thing that i would change
though, the airbox is crying out for the feed to be from the top of the car through the air scoop. If you modify the original Hayabusa airbox as i
have done on mine and several others, you can feed pressurised cold air through the airbox, but seeing as you felt that the car was already too fast,
better leave it to the next owner LOL

If it can't be fixed with a hammer then its probably an electrical problem.

Mike, there are two cut outs in the air scoop moulding right in front of the standard Hayabusa airbox air inlets so I think the feed is good, although
they are slightly disrupted by the inner edges of the seat shoulder areas. The main grille above in the scoop is more the cosmetic one. You may have
noticed that the airbox is slightly cut down on one side and at the front to get it into the air scoop moulding. When I brought the car it was really
rough and just done in black mastic. I cleaned it all up and expoxied in the infill parts then painted the box yellow.
I am dying to use it again before it goes, had a bit of interest so far, but its just not stopped raining ...

Simon, check out my photo archive and see where the air can be taken from, it would be so suitable for your style of car and could be linked to the
proper air duct above your head.
