I know this is an old thread but anyway.
What receipts are required for registration. I've so far included:
Chassis (stated new on invoice)
Donor - so engine/ transmission
Steering - rally design
Suspension - gaz
Body work - Saturn
Do I need to include anything else. I've got most things from big stuff to nuts and bolts and trim. Is all that crap necessary?
Can I include copy's of my council tax and driving licence? And is the paper counterpart ok or does it need to be photocard?
Cheers

You only need receipts for major parts and not every nut+bolt. Fill in form v627/1 and include the receipts for the parts listed on that.
Think they are supposed to be originals but take copies before sending as they are known to lose them.

I've done the "original" receipts for the items on v627
Taken a copy of my iva cert for me
I have a copy of my council tax and driving licence but didn't know whether to send the originals or copy's.

Copies of id documents are fine. If you have a photocard license you must include a copy of both parts.
That is what I did when I registered mine at beginning of May.

Do you also need photos?
Did you include the Haynes manual as well, or is that not necessary?

I sent everything. All receipts, Haynes manual. All build pictures.
Cost me £26.50 recorded signed for 24 hour service.
Didn't want to give them any excuse to not process application.
Make sure you've got copies of everything before you post it.
