Back end rebuild help?
Re greased all cv's and replace boots clip with proper ones not tie wraps might keep cv grease in!!
Diff bearings changed.
Wheels bearings regressed and checked.
But of a concern with the diff, slight float on mount about 2-3mm sideways movement, anybody else had this? It's a poor design so doesn't
surprise me really.
Also put more cv grease in diff, which I think I'm going to regret as shafts don't look like they seat in well either... Thoughts??

It's out!
Finally managed to get it back together and off the tressels.
She is now sat in wheels almost ready for a quick spin around the block.. Not quite running right though, flaming on idle.. Ergh

Normal road tyres (like the ones you are using) have a soft(er) sidewall and will not tolerate very low pressures like 12psi. You really need to very
high teens/low 20s on those tyres.
We only run as low as 14-15 on motorsport tyres in sprinting so we can work the sidewalls to heat the tyres as quickly as possible.
It sounds like you need softer springs and higher tyre pressures.

Trying to get the slicks to fit - done
Realising my wheel studs are too short - check
Ordering the wrong size wheel studs - done
Waiting.... Waiting....
Fit new studs - easy
Wheel arches still don't fit, adapt and adjust -8hours
Get another new set or rims and tyres - please
Finally getting everything to fit - not quiet there, sigh!
