Building book Locost, with live axle(English, Escort size). Toyota 4AGE engine, 4 speed box.
I have been going very slowly after starting to collect tools etc, to do the build and build a garage to do it in (ooh err), I then moved to the Western Isles(top left of Scotland)changing jobs and house three times.

Now things are starting to move forward again

Oooh...

Had to tick book locost as there's no section for a nasty devient scratch-build like mine.

Surprised at the proportion of 'kit' builders. What would uncle Ron say

Building a Stuart Taylor IRS 7 with Vauxhall XE engine on throttle bodies etc.

Finishing reprep on my Single seat, grasstrack type 9 special (also with Vauxhall engine on throttle bodies)

Contemplating/designing new chassis to build this winter for next year's grasser.

A flowbench!

Contemplating whether to stick with vauxhall engines for next years racer or switch to peugeot MI16 power.....lighter and bigger valves but it won't fit my expensive Vauxhall gearbox.........

I need 2 votes, its a middy and an ST. I'll go with middy as Ian had little input into the resulting car!!

Just about to start book chassis (maybe IRS) with ex race 1600CVH. Can't wait!
I agree with what marcus said, Mr. Champion did a good job with the proportions of the car.

Andy.
