Hi The zetec v the se will have slight differences ie the ones quoted are in different states of tune. The 1800 zetec is std + 2x 40's and 33mm chokes the se is tuned + 2x 40's but 30mm chokes. Move the se up to 33 mm chokes and it will pull away.

The quote " Well to the overall question, why would you care? On the road they will both be a lot of fun (if in different ways) and it's a matter of taste which you'd pick. " is spot on.

I should also say i have no experience with a turbo bec ( but i assume it will be as much fun as a V8 ) And that within the front runners of the kits other engine recently tried are the old vauxhaul 2.3 slant 8V and the toyota 1600 4AG.

cheers matt

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
