i was just thinking of the rotary for another project lol. just got me thinking about boost with no pistons. and how much it would take.

They'll take oodles of boost as there's no head gasket to go, and are less prone to detonation or pre-ignition due to the nature of the design.
You can buy turn key engine packages with 750bhp (from a twin rotor 1.3!!!) for around £9000.
And it weighs less than 100kg.
