Recon Sierra Diffs
Hello All
So the one part on the car that wasn't new or a full recon has proved to be a false economy. I have a 3.62 viscous slippy diff that has lots of
backlash and whines like a whiny thing. I use the throttle to drown the whining but the backlash is horrid !!
Can anyone recommend either a reliable reconditioner or a good source of recon Sierra diffs (Beds, Herts, Cambs) , either viscous slippy version or
with a conventional LSD in ??
All suggestions welcome
Thanks all
Simon

I had my diff rebuilt at road and race transmissions in kent. Very quick turn around in 2 days, only thing that was original was the crown wheel and
pinion gear everything else they replaced with new. If I remember correctly it cost about £230.

Trip to Canvey Island and get a better s/h one, suspect you have been unlucky as most are fine.
