Bodywork painting costs? Worth it?

Does any one know how much it cost to have a full set of bodywork sprayed up on a 7even?
My bodywork needs a freshen up so I’am trying to figure out the cost differential between getting the old bodywork sprayed and purchasing some new GRP instead.
Also bearing in mind that the old GRP could be sold on to lower the cost slightly.

Unless you can spray it yourself, cheap resprays cost about £500 but you'll have to do much of the prep work. All depends on your level of competence, if you don’t know how to paint I'd say just get a new panels in a gel coat colour you like

What is wrong with the current panels? If they are gel coat you can t-cut them up to a nice as new gloss with a few hours work. If bored of the colour how about some vinyl graphics to liven it up like the Martini colours scheme for example?

Worth looking at full or partial vinyl wrap.

Saw a Q7 with full wrap at the weekend and it was a top quality job. I didnt realise such good results could be had on complex curves.

i bought some vinyl from local sign writers for just a few quid per metre and it was surprisingly easy to do some free hand cut graphics.
Skippad has some neat kit for printing vinyl.

Funny, I have thought about Vinyl wrap. Most of the car wrapping companies I've spoke to wont supply the vinyl only.

Is the sign make vinyl okay for car use or does it need to be a specific grade?

I quite fancy having a go on a single panel and take it from there...
