should be ok so long as you are not connecting to a data logger but check with Robin Knight.

Hi

That is a tricky one due to the fact that there was someone caught taking the mickey with such a system once.

As it stands i am under the impression that we can fit them for testing purposes on track days and test days. But would not be legal to use them during qualifying or racing. Without looking ( please check ) it comes under prohibited modifications. Which says that extra sensors are prohibited but GPS may be used. Or words to that effect.

From that i take it that a lambda sensor being an extra sensor it would not be legal.

But as Modee says seek clarification from Robin Knight or Kieth Messer at the 750mc. For what it's worth as far as i know anyone who uses one only uses them on test days or rolling roads since the regulations where altered after someone was caught cheating with one fitted. Effectivly creating an ECU.

Cheers Matt
