Taxing after SORN?

Hi All,

I can't resist I just must tax my MK Indy - I've been workin gon it in the garage for a few weeks after buying it from someone.

My question is, I believe it is SORN, do I just take in the current MOT, my insurance cert and my V5C (don't have V5 yet) to the post office and they'll give me a disc? Will I need to take in the most recent disc too which of course is out of date?

I don't have any documentation saying anything about SORN.

Thanks,

Dan

If you do it on-line , all you will need is the reference number on your log book
But it does take a few days for the disc to arrive

take the v5c insurance and mot to the post office and they will tax it for you just like normal. if you go down to the dvla office they can do yor tax from mid month so you dont lose most of decembers tax money. or just wait until the 1st of jan

If you havent sorned it yourself it isnt sorned. If youv just boght it you must sorn it yourself.

As for the tax just take your v5 slip insurance and mot to the po and tax it as normal.
