not sure why youd want to "Modify" them?

I used to make them for a huge furnace where i worked once. We bought High Tension cable by the drum, and the ends and made them to length.

Kindest Regards,

Since modern plug lead ends appear to be molded on , I dont think you will be able to remove/refit them - the custom lead set on my car (Mazda caps , Ford coil pack) cost more than the engine

i've got the same problem. vauxhall engine (twin cam, so its got those long plug leads) and ford coil pack. the vauxhall leads sort of fit the coil, but they're a bit wobbly, and don't seal well.
