What other exhaust manifold would fit 1.8 CVH?

I am not even sure if any exist, but does anyone know if any other exhaust manifolds match up with the sierra 1.8 CVH engine?

Just looking at options as well as the original cast one with the engine.

Cheers

Adrian

Hi Kev;

I believe it may be possible to use the existing manifold and part of the twin down pipe section, but could mean a sharp bend to come out at the bottom of the side panel to have another bend to run down the car.

I am hoping some one may say yes a Zetec or a xxxxx fits the same, I just do not know enough on engines.

There was a thread on here yesterday about Zetec Exhausts from EBAY / Robin HOOD. Think the KIT was £170 quid.

Both Ford Zetec and and Rover T series manifolds can be adpated.

The only one that fiits without modification is from a 1.6 CVH. I put one one my Indy when I had the 1.8 cvh in.

The port spacing on the CVH is exactly the same as a Zetec, so with a bit of messing it should be possible to modify a Zetec exhaust to fit.

I now have the CVH exhaust on my 2.0 Zetec. All I did was to cut the manifold plate off a Focus non-cast manifold and weld the CVH maifold to it.
