savage fan switch wiring

replacing my old fan override switch with a savage switch so i now need to put a relay in.
i know how to wire it up so it all works switching the earth to the relay.

trying to figure out how to get the savage switch to only illuminate when the override switch is on.
if i put pin 2 to the neg. on the led would it also light up when the thermo switch activates the fan as they are both conected to the same pin on the relay?

my other thought was are both sides of the savage switch completely seperate?
could i use one side to switch earth for the fan relay and the other side to switch live for the led?

cheers
