a bit of edis help?
The edis I have has only 11 wires to it and not 12 (it is not as though one is missing there a green and yellow one then a space then a green and red,
followed by the others) as in the pictures I have seen on trigger wheels and also on their site it refers to pip and saw?? what are they?

was just going to reply by email and saw this
the PIP and SAW are the connection form the EDIS to the megajolt (think of them as flow and return),when you say it only has 11 wires are the ones
that are missing shown on the pic below?

Yep, PIP and SAW are the wires that connect your ECU to your EDIS

Looking at it as per the diagram you posted there is a wire in the pin at the top this is the green and yellow one then there is a blank at point2
then the next is green and red The screened wires double are at 6+7with a loop from 6to5 then 10,11.12 in a screened cable and a loop back to the
other pair...... if thats clear

The wire missing is the number 11 and feeds the tacho if fitted.
I have 2 EDIS moduals one with all 12 and one with the number 11 missing.
No problem feed the tacho from the ECU

Yep - I'd go with that, or take a feed from the PIP if you find that the tacho needle bounces around erratically.
