hi, i read an article in practical classics saying that when the new test is introduced ABS brakes will need to be fitted is this right? because surely this will make my build more difficult?? cheers ben

Not needed on a kit car apparently. There was a thread recently with a link to the draft IVA manual and a bit about ABS

if you come across something else that worries you, do a search. I've usual bought it up in one thread or another over the last few months and some helpful person on here generally replies with some useful information (alternatively it may just have Mr Whippy being a jester)

I brought this matter up with my MP when the IVA was first announced.

I have a letter from my MP here where he says that having checked with the MP responsibly ABS will NOT be a requirement for kit cars.

Again, thank god for that it would of been a nightmare as this will be the first kit i have done!
