dont brecognise much of that must be all the buildings. wonder how nuch track days will be there after all that work. shame there changing it really

Its only the middle part of the track that seems to be staying the same.
Why not use the current layout?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I think what throws you is it seems to have a new start/finish line ?
Once it sets off down under the clock its all orgional, redgate, craner, old hairpin, mansels wall, starkys then Mcleans until you get back onto the
"new" start finish straight which apears to me be by the old dunlop bridge ?
Thats how I watched it anyhow.

Can't see where the F1 beasties are going to overtake on that!
Why are we getting so many 'bland' circuits? If F1 is to survive then it needs to feed the mainstream audience with the danger and
excitement they want.

I think there should be a figure of 8 circuit for the last GP of the season. That would be much more interesting.
The new Donington appears to be just another circuit now. As Jon has pointed out, some of the original features are still there but I think that they
just seemed to be "lost" now that they are blended in to the new circuit. I know progress is progress and all that, but some of our
circuits, although high speed and safe, had a certain "feel" to them that was all part of the charm and they were at home hosting
everything from 1940's MG's to BTCC and Formula cars.

They used to it was called Suzika (sp?). although the crossover was a bridge rather than a crossroads.
This is personal advise or personal opinion.
Constructive comments gratefully recieved, picking is left for noses.
