Identification of "stuff" on GSXR600 SRAD carbs

Can someone tell me what the two black units are (each seems to be connected to a pair of carbs), which are bolted to the underside of the GSXR carbs please. They have twin hoses going into / out of each and a two pin electrical connection on.

I am guessing they are part of the emmissions control (air injection maybe), as are the 4 the multitude of hoses that connect to the 4 brass inlets on the lower part of the carbs??

Do these need blocking off or leaving open to air??

Should say these have been respaced and are going on a boat anchor........ sorry...... Pinto

Not required. Block the hoses off.

Excellent thanks. Guessed they must be a pair of solenoid valves from the manual - can find very little on them there!! Will remove them and block the pipes up this evening then

Cheers
Paul
