2.0 cam in a 1.6 pinto engine
hi, first of all will it fit? secondly will the head need any modifications?

Yeah it will fit and you shouldn't need any modifications (aside from ignition timing) but its worth checking over the condition of your oil
spray bar and the followers springs and replace any weak parts with new.

p.s. if you read it, i have not got a 2.0litre head the on my 1.6pinto

No modifications, the 2.0 litre cam was standard fit in the 1.6GT engine.
The 1.6GT engine also had larger valves, banana exhaust and twin choke webber, it was basically a skimmed 2.0litre head.
So will be a straight swap in, will make the car a bit more eager
